I’ve had an amazing time in Cunda with my friends. We were so crowded and loud, all we could make is laughter and fun. Island is beautiful, mixed with Turkish and Greek culture and you could smell the antique culture in every street. I loved the architecture and urban planning there. There is actually not an urban plan but that disorder made the streets look more sophisticated and elegant. Houses were 3 floored at most and most of every of them has a private garden. Roads were stone and narrow. Anyways, I’ve been to Cunda a couple of times before but this time with my friends it was beyond amazing. I’ve just arrived home and all I want is to sleep since we could barely slept there.

Anyone whoever is planning to visit Turkey, you should see Cunda especially in April, May and summer.

I am going to Cunda Island tomorrow morning with my college mates, it is our school trip we are going to inspect that area and our spring semester will be about Cunda’s architecture.

It is a small island in the northwestern Aegean Sea off the coast of Ayvalık, Balıkesir Province of Turkey.
